The Tallest Tree is the National Geographic treein Tall Trees Grove; it has since been surpassed in height by others.Kitchen Backsplash Mosaic (2012) – This was a special birthday present for Lisa, executed by a local artist, Jo Bauen. It’s a map of Oakland, highlighting important places in our courtship and lives.In the upper right is the Last Virgin/Old Survivor redwood.Safety praise ribbons, for kid use in worship at New Hope Covenant Church (2016). These replaced praise flags with long, poke-y sticks that were a hazard to eyeballs young and old.The ribbons are knotted through screw-eye in the end of a sanded, light wood dowel.
